Stanford Alumni “Beyond the Farm” Day of Service

The Stanford Alumni team built five potting tables, one large picnic bench and planted 20 blueberry plants, assorted edible flowers and citrus trees for Homeboy Industries and The Homegirl Café. Homeboy Industries assists at-risk and formerly gang involved youth to become positive and contributing members of society through job placement, training and education. Homegirl Café, a division of Homeboy Industries, offers a one year training program within the food and service industry, empowering young people to redirect their lives and providing them with hope for their futures.

Class-A Fire Rated Wood Siding

Santa Barbara, CA

New construction in all California’s high fire zones, labeled as the Wildland Urban Interface (W.U.I), requires all exterior wood be listed as “Ignition Resistant” (Class-A after weathering). TimberSIL wood is one of a small group of real wood siding products approved by the state to be used in these high fire areas. TimberSIL the only non-toxic product of the bunch.

Picnic Shelter – Salt Creek Beach, Dana Point, CA

This is an absolutely beautiful TimberSIL wood Orange County Parks project, built on the bluff in Dana Point, CA over looking the Pacific Ocean. All the TimberSIL wood 4×6’s were custom ordered with corbel end details milled prior to going through the TimberSIL glass impregnation process to insure maximum protection against rot and decay.
